Chris Smith, who hosts the podcast, invited Nicholson onto the show to talk about national park photography, camera gear, night shooting and more. Specific topics included:
Why Acadia and Olympic are two of Nicholson's favorite national parks
All the different things that parks offer for photography subjects

They also talked about Nicholson’s 2015 book Photographing National Parks, along with some tips for other photographers who might be entertaining the idea of writing their own book. (Hint: Stay with it!)

Led by Smith, Out of Chicago has been running photography tours, workshops and photo walks in the Chicago area since 2011. Moreover, they bring together more than 300 photographers for the annual Out of Chicago Photography Conference, and this year they’re running their first conference away from their home city: Out of New York, which be held in NYC October 14-15, 2016.
